Barcelona:  El Cuarto Gótico

The Gothic Quarter of Barcelona.  We visited this area on Easter Sunday, which explains the number of people in and around the cathedral.

Here we are entering the main square in the Gothic quarter.

              

This is the main entrance to "La Catedral de Barcelona", the principal cathedral in Barcelona.  Of course, it's a gothic cathedral.

The people of Barcelona gather in front of the gothic cathedral to perform a traditional dance of the region.

The remains of an old Roman acqueduct in the heart of the gothic quarter.
